The Women's T20 Big Bash is back with a bang, kicking off the Summer of Cricket in October. From October 27 till November 24 2024, Women cricketers from across the country will be battling it out in a round-robin tournament hosted in various stadiums in Australia.

This includes multiple games held in Brisbane on the Allan Border Field on October 30, November 22 and 24, and at the iconic Gabba on November 9, 2024.

Melbourne will be hosting a number of fixtures at the CitiPower Centre on November 2 and 3, and November 8 and 9, and November 23 and 24. More Melbourne games will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on November 15

Mens T20 Big Bash

Following the Women's, the Mens T20 Big Bash will start doing the rounds from December 15 into the New Year.

In Brisbane, games will be hosted on December 22 and 29, 2024, and January 1, 6, and 16, 2025. All Brisbane mens games will be held at the Gabba.

Down south in Melbourne, games will be held across the MCG, Marvel Stadium, and Geelong’s GMHBA Stadium on December 18 and 23, 2024, and January 2, 4, 9, 12, and 18, 2025 before closing out the season on January 19, 2025 at the MCG.

T20 International

Before the T20 Big Bash, the T20 International was playing it fast and hard. In Australia, T20 International matches are hosted across the year. During the 2024 Summer of Cricket, three tests will be held across Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.

Australia v Pakistan at The Gabba

The third and final of the T20 International Tests is Australia versus Pakistan at Brisbane’s Gabba in Woolloongabba on November 14, 2024. As the possible clean sweep match-maker or ultimate tie-breaker, the third game in Brisbane is set to be explosive.

One Day International Series

What’s in between the fast paced T20 Big Bash and the T20 International and a whole cricket test match? Well that would be the One Day International (ODI) series. While T20 is defined by its 20 overs, ODIs have 50 overs split across the two competing teams with one innings each.

Australia will be hosting a number of ODI series over this Summer.
