What is digital check in?
Digital check-in is like a regular serviced apartment check-in, only all done via your phone—no need to wait at reception desks or carry physical keycards. Through a convenient smartphone app, you’ll receive a digital key on the day of your arrival, ready to unlock your room with just a tap. Simply follow the easy steps, and you're in!

Where are your apartments located?
Rambla @ Story House apartments are located in Kangaroo Point in Brisbane, adjacent to Woolloongabba and close to South Bank and the CBD.
Does my room include internet and streaming services?
Yes, every room at Rambla @ Story House includes complimentary high-speed WiFi. You can also stream your favourite shows and movies via Chromecast direct to the TV.
How far is the airport from the apartments?
16.7km—approximately a 16-20 minutes drive. Our Kangaroo Point accommodation is located close to the Airport Link, which provides quick and direct access to the airport.
What is the nearest train station?
Park Road Station is just under 2km away from Story House. Be there via car in 5 minutes, or walk there in 25 minutes. From Park Road you can catch major train lines into and away from the city you'll find 15 major train lines running in and out of the city, as well as services to the Brisbane Airport and the Gold Coast. Park Road Station is one stop away from South Bank, two stops from Roma Street, and three stops from the CBD.
What is the nearest bus stop?
There are several bus stops with Fortitude Valley and city-bound services, all within walking distance of Story House. The closest are Main St at Linton St (Stop 8C) and Wellington Rd at Linton St (Stop 11), both a 5-minute walk from Story House. If you're looking for other routes, the Woolloongabba bus station is a 7-minute walk and has dozens of Brisbane-wide services available.
Who do I contact during my stay if I need assistance?
Don't hesitate to reach out via the messaging system accessible within the guest portal. It's incredibly user-friendly, allowing you to submit requests both before and during your stay. Our team monitors this system from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and checks it regularly on weekends. Alternatively, you can reach us by phone at 1300 58 31 51. Our phone line is operational from 8 am to 5 pm, and available 24/7 for emergencies.
Do you have security on premise?
Our Kangaroo Point accommodation has security patrol overnight and security guards on-site during the weekends. If you need to report an issue, please call us on 1300 58 31 51.
Facilities & Amenities
Do Story House apartments have recreation facilities?
Plenty of them. Head up to the rooftop terrace to use our BBQs, outdoor gym, magnesium pool and spa, barrel sauna, yoga lawn, ping pong table...the list goes on! Check out all our facilities.
What about a pool?
On the rooftop, you'll find a 14m magnesium pool with revitalising mineral benefits.
Will my room have air conditioning?
Absolutely. All Story House apartments have split system air conditioning.
Does Rambla have a sauna?
Yes, Rambla @ Story House has a barrel sauna on the rooftop terrace.
Do we store luggage?
We don’t have a dedicated storage area but will always do what we can to assist. Drop us an email with your request and we'll work with you to find a solution.
Is there early check in/late departure available?
We can't guarantee it, but if you email us your requirements, we'll see how we can help. Just keep in mind that charges will apply to early check ins or late check outs.
Are there other communal areas at Story House?
Story House has a great co-working space that's solely for Rambla guests. We also have bike racks on-site and a car park (charges apply).

What rooms are available?
Story House has four modern serviced apartment rooms to choose from: The King Studio, Double King Studio, Executive King Studio, and Accessible King Studio. Find your perfect room match.
How long can I stay?
Rambla provides both short and long-term accommodation with a minimum stay of four nights and a maximum stay of three months. Whether you need weekly accommodation in Brisbane or something longer, we've got you covered.
Do you offer room service?
We don't offer designated room service atStory House, but you'll find plenty of delicious restaurants and cafés nearby that do takeaway options.
What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
Whether your plans take an unexpected twist or you have a change of heart, our dedicated team is here to help with any adjustments to your booking or cancellation requests. Feel free to reach out to us before your stay if you need to make any changes. Your satisfaction is our priority.
Does every room have a balcony?
At Rambla @ Story House, our Executive King Studio rooms have private balconies.
